1. Inclusion Criteria for Caregivers
Caregivers of adolescents with ID (mild Mental Retardation as per the ICD-10 criteria),living with the patient within the same household.
2. Any age group.
3. Can comprehend well Hindi or English languages.
4. Have access of video calling facility.
5. Caregivers who will score 20 or more in Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10)16 will be recruited.
Exclusion criteria for Caregivers
1. Any known major psychiatric or medical illness including substance dependence except nicotine in adolescent or caregiver.
2. More than one member in the family is having any major disability.

Name Time Method In this study pre-assessment will be done by using the following scales; <br/ ><br>1. Clinical details and Socio-demographic datasheet of adolescent caregivers. <br/ ><br>2. Kessler 10 Scale <br/ ><br>3. Brief cope <br/ ><br>4. Psychosocial Assessment Tool. <br/ ><br>After the pre-assessment, psychosocial intervention would be provided, and post assessment would be carried out to assess the impact of the intervention.Timepoint: 8 weeks
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The present study aims to explore the caregiversâ?? stress and coping strategies used to deal with their adolescent with Intellectual Disability during the pandemic situation and to see the impact of a psychosocial intervention package on the caregiversâ?? stress. In the intervention researcher will provide training/guidance/support to the caregivers to cope up with special needs of their adolescent child; caregiving to which is increasing their own stress. <br/ ><br>Psychosocial distress of the caregivers will be reduced. <br/ ><br>Coping skill of the caregivers will be enhanced. <br/ ><br>Caregivers will be able to manage their adolescents child with ID in a better way.Timepoint: In this study psychosocial intervention would be provided in 5 session.
