Age above six years; Either gender
Individuals with cardiac pacemaker or other implanted electronic device; Individuals with skin lesions in the thoracic area where the electrical impedance tomography belt will be placed; Individuals with impaired functional capacity (NYHA level IV), which would suffer with fatigue and discomfort during the tests; Pregnancy; Individuals who refused the participation on the study by the means of the non-signature on the consent form (and its equivalent with individuals under the age of 18 years and their parents)

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Agreement between the estimated tidal volume (ml) using electrical impedance tomography and the tidal volume obtained using a flow sensor (ml), with mean bias under 50ml
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Agreement between the estimate from tidal volume calibrated by pneumotachograph at spontaneous breathing (ml) and of the tidal volume estimated at different pressure levels (ml), with mean bias under 50ml;Agreement between the estimated tidal volume (ml) calibrated in sitting position and the same parameter obtained in supine position, with mean bias lower than 50ml;Comparison between tidal volume estimate (ml) based on electrical impedance tomography signals and an algorithm that estimates tidal volume (ml) adding anthropometric information
