Inclusion Criteria

Minimum age of 18 years; both genders; have an active telephone line; reside in the same household as the student; be responsible for buying/preparing food at the student's home in the municipal network of Mariana or Ouro Preto-MG

Exclusion Criteria

Students from Youth and Adult Education (EJA); permanently busy telephone lines; telephone lines with fax signal; telephone lines with answering machine; inability to speak with the person in charge after 5 attempts on alternate days/times

Expected outcome 1: At the baseline of the study, it was expected to find an increase in the prevalence of food insecurity among students from public schools in Mariana and Ouro Preto, after the closure of schools and the interruption of the supply of school meals, verified through of the Brazilian Food Insecurity Scale (EBIA), based on previous surveys that showed that the national prevalence of household food insecurity was 36%.
