Brief Summary

comparison between perineural dexamethasone(8mg) and dexmedetomidine(50mcg) as an adjuvant to combination of 0.5% Ropivacaine and 0.5% Bupivacaine in ultrasound guided supraclavicular brachial plexus block for upper limb surgeries. Aim is to find the onset and duration of sensory and motor block and duration of postoperative analgesia

Inclusion Criteria

ASA 1,2 BODY WEIGHT 50-80KGS.

Exclusion Criteria
  • SEPSIS AT SITEOF INFECTION PATIENTS NOTWILLING TO GIVE INFORMED CONSENT PATIENTS WITH NEUROLOGICAL DEFICITS INVOLVING BRACHIAL PLEXUS.
  • COAGULOPATHY KNOWN HYPERSENSITIVITY TO LOCAL ANAESTHETICS PREGNANCY.
