- •Patients with femoral shaft fracture who were candidates for elective surgery under general anesthesia; between 15 and 55 years; ASA Class I, II
- •Exclusion criteria: positive history of any cardiac or hepatic problem; addiction to any specific drug; using anti hypertensive, psychiatric, agonist or antagonist a-2 receptor agents; basal heart rate less than 60/min; pregnant patient; patients who had blood loss of more than 1 liter during surgery; patients for whom the time of operation took more than 3 hours
