1. ASA Physical Status I and II
2. Age-18 to 50 years
3. Sex â?? Both Male and Female
4. Patients undergoing elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy
Following patients were excluded from this study:-
1. Patient refusal
2. ASA physical status III and IV,
3. Patients having difficult airway,
4. Bronchial asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease or any other
respiratory diseases,
5. Liver diseases,
6. Heart diseases, Conduction blocks
7. Hypertensive patients
8. Patients taking clonidine, methyl-dopa, beta blockers, benzodiazepines, MAO
inhibitors
9. Morbid obesity,
10. Renal diseases,
11. Diabetes,
12. Neurological illnesses, Myopathies, and
13. Allergy to the study drugs
