1. Distal 3rd femoral fractures Muller’s type A and Type C fractures.
2. Simple fractures (all closed fractures).
3. Compound fractures presenting within 6 hours: Gustilo Anderson’s Type1 Type 2 and
Type3A.
4. Aged between 20 to 60 years.
1. Muller’s type B fracture.
2. All compound fractures presenting beyond 6 hours.
3. Gustilo Anderson’s Type 3B and Type 3C fractures
4. Undisplaced fracture patterns needing only Conservative management.
5. Pathological fractures.
6. In patients who undergone previous surgery to knee.
7. Patients associated with ipsilateral lower limb fractures.
