Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Acute traumatic unilateral and complete tibial shaft fracture (AO classification 42\-A to C) with or without an additional fibula fracture
- •Operative treatment with an intramedullary nail at the BG Hospital Murnau
Exclusion Criteria
- •further injuries of the lower extremity
- •neurological conditions affecting gait
- •patient is unable to comprehend the study project
