CTS patients who are at least 19 years of age are enrolled based on their history and physical examination follow the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) for CTS with diagnostic criteria and EDX criteria from AAEM in mild and moderate degrees.
Patients with underlying metabolic disorders such as diabetes mellitus, genetic disorders, upper limb surgery, peripheral polyneuropathy, traumatic nerve injury, blood coagulation disorder or during the use of anticoagulants, pregnancy, thrombosis, cancer and previous surgical, wrist splint or injection CTS treatment. Excluded severe CTS patients according to electrodiagnosis criteria.
