Inclusion Criteria
1.Patients undergoing elective abdominal surgery under general anaesthesia.
2.Aged between 20-60 years.
3.ASA grade I & II.
4.Those who are willing to give written consent.
Exclusion Criteria
1.Persons with pre existing neurological or spinal disease.
2.cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, hepatic or any other systemic disease
3.Allergic to magnesium sulphate.
4.Extreme of ages
