â??Patients/ Guardian giving written

consent will be taken

â??Age 16-60 years admitted in ICU

â?? Patients having new onset of fever

after 48 hours of admission in the

hospital.

â?? patients having new onset netropenia

Exclusion Criteria

â??Patients not giving consent.

â?? Patients already having fever at the

time of admission.

â??Patients developing fever within 48h of

admission .

- patients APACHE score of above 25

To study epidemiology and risk factor of causative organisms of septicemia in patients admitted in tertiary level ICU care. <br/ ><br>Role of MALDI TOF MASS SPECTROMETRY in Species identification of the organisms causing septicemia. <br/ ><br>Antibiotic susceptibility pattern of the organisms causing septicemia. <br/ ><br>To study incidence of candidemia and antifungal susceptibility. <br/ ><br> Clinical outcome of the patients in terms of hospital stay and number of days on ventilator. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 1.5 years <br/ ><br>
