- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1. To estimate the concentration of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) in the pulp blood of mature permanent teeth undergoing pulpotomy in

a) symptomatic reversible pulpitis

b) symptomatic irreversible pulpitis

2. To estimate the clinical and radiographic outcome of pulpotomy performed in these teeth

3. To determine the association between the above.

Timepoint: One year follow up period with recall at 3, 6

months and 1 year.

- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1. To estimate the neutrophil counts in the pulp blood of mature permanent

teeth undergoing pulpotomy in

a) symptomatic reversible pulpitis

b) symptomatic irreversible pulpitis

2. To determine the association between the neutrophil counts & outcome

of pulpotomy in these teeth.

Timepoint: One year follow up period with recall at 3, 6

months & 1 year
