Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •\- man/woman between the age of 65\-75 years
- •\- not meet the requirements of the Nederlandse Norm Gezond Bewegen (NNGB) \-\-\> less than 5 x 30 min. per week active
- •\- no active participation in sports for the last year
Exclusion Criteria
- •\- Chronic (progressive) disorder which affects the sensory or motor function (i.e. CVA, Parkinson, severe arthritis)
- •\- cardiac problems (heart failure, aneurysm, heart rhythm complaints, claudicatio intermittens) over the past 10 years
- •\- thrombosis or emboli over the past 10 years
- •\- Instable metabolic disorder (i.e. diabetes)
- •\- bone fracture over the past 2 years
- •\- Vertebra collapse
- •\- Walking with walking aid
- •\- Cognitive limitations;The in\- and exclusion criteria will be asked during a conversation on the phone. In addition, the Mini\-Mental State Examination will be taken to get an impression about their cognitive abilities. People scoring \*27 will be excluded from the study.
