Inclusion Criteria
1.Conscious, alert and oriented patients at the time of assessment
2.Adults > 18 years of age
3.Admitted to NICU with or without the need of mechanical ventilation (MV)
4. NICU stay > 48h
5. Hemodynamically stable patients
6.Not on high dose of anaesthetics/sedatives at least for 24h
Exclusion Criteria
1.Refusal of consent
2.Patients with hearing difficulty, delirious, or with psychiatric disturbances

Name Time Method -To estimate the incidence of sleep disturbances in the conscious subset of neurological patients admitted to NICU.Timepoint: During the ICU stay
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1.To identify the predictors of sleep disturbances. <br/ ><br>2.To assess the psychological disturbances using Intensive care unit psychological assessment tool (IPAT) and study relationship with sleep disturbances. <br/ ><br>3.To study the long-term impact of sleep disturbances observed in the NICU on the post-discharge sleep quality assessed at three months. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: During the ICU stay and hospital stay and at 3. months hospital discharge
