Inclusion Criteria
The diabetic patients those who were under metformin treatment (500mg twice a day) minimum for two years were included in the study.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with diabetic complications include retinopathy, nephropathy, neuropathy, hypertension, and other diseases
Patients on insulin treatment and hypoglycemic treatment were excluded from the study.
