Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients of ASA grade I and II
- •2\.Patients undergoing elective surgery requiring endotracheal intubation (Duration less than 3 hours)
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients not willing to participate in the study
- •2\.Surgeries of oral cavity and pharynx
- •3\.Anticipated difficult airway
- •4\.More than 2 attempts at intubation
- •5\.Use of nasogastric or orogastric tube perioperatively
- •6\.Patients with upper respiratory tract infection
- •7\.Patients on steroids
