- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method It is expected to find, after long-term ingestion of a compound rich in nitrate and the practice of physical exercise, an improvement of the macro and microvascular endothelial function of the volunteers through the technique of flow-mediated dilation of the arteries; the improvement of performance parameters and muscle quality, through the isokinetic dynamometer and ultrasonography; increased angiogenesis and the modification of biochemical parameters and the composition of short-chain fatty acids in biological samples through analysis by gas chromatography
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method It is expected to find, after long-term ingestion of a nitrate-rich compound and physical exercise, the modification of body composition
