unilateral or bilateral gon- or coxarthrosis
- Fall History: > 1 fall in the last 12 months; 1 fall in the last 12 months will only be included if other tests have shown no abnormalities
- TUG: = 23 seconds; 22-15 seconds only included if other tests have shown no abnormalities, usage of aids
- 10 meter walking test: walking speed <0.6 or = 1.3 m/s, usage of aids
- 2-minute walking test: <100 meters, one or more breaks, use of aids
- completely dependent on walking aids
- suffering from an acute illness, such as fever, unresolved injuries, vertigo, nausea or balance problems
- operated on the spine in the measurement area (VP-L4) or the pelvis
- having chronic diseases, except osteoarthritis, that have an influence on the movement behavior, safety and balance, for example Parkinson's disease, hemiplegia, polyneuropathy
- suffer from fluctuating disease, for example multiple sclerosis
- back contour changes due to large scars, tumors, a BMI of = 30 kg/m² or tattoos in the measurement area that generate measurement artifacts
- being pregnant
- being not fully able to consent or compos mentis.
In addition at the second time of measurement:
- having had a drastic complication during or after surgery that had an unexpected impact on the outcome (e.g. falls, infections or dislocations)
- having had an independent injury or surgery on the musculoskeletal system since the last measurement
