patients above 20 years of age and of either sex undergoing elective off pump coronary artery bypass surgery and showing an serum albumin level of < 4.0 g/dL the day before surgery
1) emergency
2) patients with a history of allergic reactions to human albumin
3) patients with preoperative creatinine level = 1.5 mg/dl, or requiring dialysis
4) patients with a preoperative inotrope, intraaortic balloon pump, or ventricular assist device support
5) left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) = 40%
6) patients undergoing concomitant valvular or aortic surgery
