Ulcer present on any site of mouth like tongue, cheeks, inside the lips, palates.
Minor apthous ulcer.
1 â?? 5 in numbers
Size is less than 10mm
Tend to recurrence at less than 2 months interval.
Infective :- Bacterial, Viral , Fungal
Traumatic :- Medical, Chemical , Thermal, Factitious injury, Radiation , Eosinophilic ulcer.
Major apthous ulcer, herpetic form ulcer
Associated with systemic disease: - Haematological diseases, Gastrointestinal tract diseases , Behcetâ??s disease (syndrome) , HIV infection, Syphilitic ulcer, Diabetic ulcer.
Associated with dermatological diseases :- Lichen planus, Chronic discoid lupus erythematous, Vesiculobullous disease
Neoplastic :- Squamous cell carcinoma , other malignant neoplasms
