Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Increase in subjective stress level, measured by visual analogue scale immediately before and after stress exposure.
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
1. Increase of saliva cortisol concentration associated with mental stress exposure, measured by immunoassay immediately before and 30 minutes after stress exposure<br>2. Experimental versus control contrast in pACC activity associated with mental stress exposure, measured by fMRI, as compeared to a control condition (cognitive challenge without stress exposure). The stress paradigm uses a block design with repeated 60 seconds task (or control) blocks that are preceded by 5 seconds instruction phase and followed by 20 seconds pause.
