Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
effects of genes and environmental adversity on the structure, function and connectivity of neural circuits involved in emotion regulation and reward processing. In detail, the following assessments will be conducted: (i) structural neuroimaging (voxel-based morphometry), (ii) diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), and (iii) functional neuroimaging using three experimental paradigms to assess BOLD fMRI combined with EEG response during the execution of an emotional arousal (face matching) task, a response conflict and inhibition (flanker) task, and a reward task (differential conditioning paradigm).
