1.Partially or completely bony impacted mandibular third molars.
2.Age between 18-40 years.
1.Acute infection/abscess of odontogenic and non-odontogenic causes.
2.Pregnant and lactating females.
3.Patients with known systemic disorders such as diabetes mellitus, anaemia, hypertension, thyroid disorder, immunocompromised state etc.
4.History of allergy to local anaesthetic agents like lignocaine.
5.Heavy use alcoholics(For men, consuming more than 4 drinks on any day or more than 14 drinks per week, For women, consuming more than 3 drinks on any day or more than 7 drinks per week) and current smokers(An adult who has smoked 100 cigarettes in his or her lifetime and who currently smokes cigarettes).
6.Patients having disorders causing impairment in mouth opening of less than 30mm like OSMF, Temporomandibular Joint Disorders , trismus etc
