Inclusion Criteria

  • •Written informed consent to participate in this study
  • •\- Indication for replacement or reimplantation of a revision total knee arthroplasty

Exclusion Criteria

  • •\- Steroid intake over 1 year \> 7\.5mg/d
  • •\- Osteoporosis diagnosed by means of apparatus and treated with medication
  • •\- Rheumatoid arthritis
  • •\- Patients unable to give consent
  • •\- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
