Inclusion Criteria

diagnosis of at least one infantile regulatory disorder // Age of the child is 36 months or younger
// the mother adequately speaks the German language // written agreement of both custodians // Parents are able to give their permission // Participant has the mental condition to participate in the study

Exclusion Criteria

Acute substance abuse of the mother //
Acute psychosis of the mother //
acute suicidal tendencies of the mother //
Alcohol embryopathy suspected //
severe chronic organic impairments of the child //
other psychotherapy of mother or child //
Participation of mother or child in other clinical trials

Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Maternal sensitivity in the interaction with the child measured by the sensitivity subscale of the Emotional Availability Scale (EAS) at the end of the 6-week intervention. The EAS is measured by videotaped interactions of mother and child and evaluated by blinded, certified judges.
