Patients with normal BMI aged 18-65years of either gender with American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) I and II status undergoing elective laparoscopic surgeries under general anaesthesia.
1 Patients refusing to participate in the study
2 Obese individuals
3 Difficult airway
4 Uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes
5 Cardio-respiratory disorder
6 Allergy to study drug
7 Neuroâ??psychiatric disorders
8 Pregnant or lactating mothers.
9 Hepatic and renal dysfunction
10 Alcoholic
11 Patient on opioids, sedatives, beta-blockers
12 Infection at site of block
13 ASA 3 and 4

Name Time Method To compare the suppression of hemodynamic response to intubation & pneumoperitoneum by using multi modal non opioid analgesic regimen in adult patients undergoing elective laparoscopic surgery in comparison with opioid based approachTimepoint: Baseline, After administration of study drug, 2minutes post induction, 5minutes post intubation, Every 15minutes post pneumoperitoneum after extubation

Name Time Method To assess Postoperative pain relief, opioid consumption for 24 hours, <br/ ><br>To study the safety profile of the drugs <br/ ><br>Timepoint: Intraoperative through out the surgery to estimate requirement of opioids, Postoperatively every 15mins for 1 hour, every 2nd hourly till 8th hour, 16th hour, 24th hour.
