Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • \- The patients who have malocclusion, which need the extraction of right and left upper first premolar for upper canine retraction.
  • \- The age of patients are between 18\-30 years.
  • \- No signs and symptoms of periodontal disease follow by American academy of periodontology (AAP) 1990\.
  • \- No other bone diseases.
  • \- No drug allergy and long term use of anti\-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, bisphosphonates and steroid drugs especially 6 months before started treatment.

Exclusion Criteria

  • \- Un\-cooperative patients.
  • \- The participants are unable to continue treatment.
  • \- Loss follows up.
  • \- Unable to control oral hygiene.
  • \- Presence of periodontal diseases during study.
  • \- Failure of bonding on the maxillary canine.
