Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •male and female
  • •age 18 \- 75 years
  • •BMI 15 \- 30 kg/m2
  • •elective coronary artery bypass
  • •elective aortic valve surgery

Exclusion Criteria

  • •emergent surgery
  • •patient refusal
  • •repeat surgery
  • •high risk of perioperative bleeding
  • •intraoperative hypthermia (\<32 degrees)
  • •preoperative catecholamine support
  • •low ejection fraction (\<30%)
  • •presence of infection
  • •relevant comorbidities (NYHA IV, abnormal liver function, COPD, dialysis requirement)
  • •severe mental disorder
