Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All adult patients undergoing esophagectomy for cancer esophagus and gastroesophageal junction operated in the surgical oncology unit of Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences from 2015 onwards
Exclusion Criteria
- •Urgent surgery, American society of Anaesthesiologists\-Physical status 4 and 5 , inoperable patient , patients in the enhanced pathway who could not comply with protocol
