•Patients diagnosed with Migraine headache and on prophylaxis
•4 to 15 migraine attacks per month in the past 2 months
•Patients with Headache other than migraine
•Patients with chronic daily headache (>=15 days/month)
•Patients already on statins for any other conditions
•Patients on any lipid lowering substances
•Patients with renal disease (GFR >than 30ml/min)
•Creatinine kinase > 3 times the upper limit of normal
•Patients with AST/ALT >2 times the upper limit of the normal
•Pregnant, nursing and potentially could become pregnant patients
•Patients with history of any drug/substance abuse or dependence
•Patients with uncontrolled DM, Thyroid disease and psychiatric illnesses
•Known hypersensitivity to statins
