Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Pregnant women posted for Caesarean section at term
  • •2\.Pregnant patients with no known major comorbidities affecting neonatal outcome
  • •3\.Patients consenting for study
  • •4\.Antenatal level 2 normal USG
  • •5\.Maternal age less than 50 years

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients not giving consent for the study
  • •2\. Patients with severe preeclampsia or eclampsia
  • •3\. Known allergy to local anesthetics
  • •4\. Uncorrected hypovolemia
  • •5\. Pregnancies complicated with severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases
  • •6\. Maternal age more than 50 years
  • •7\. Patients with raised intracranial pressure
  • •8\. Patients with coagulation disorders and bleeding diasthesis
