Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\) Patient aged \> 18 years.
  • 2\) American Society of Anaesthesiologist (ASA) physical status 1 and 2\.
  • 3\) World Federation of Neurologic Surgeons (WFNS) grade I to II aSAH and who were scheduled for an endovascular therapeutic procedure for aSAH under general anaesthesia within 5 days of aneurysm rupture.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\) Patient refusal
  • 2\) Patient aged \< 18 years
  • 3\) Pregnant women
  • 4\) American Society of Anaesthesiologist (ASA) physical status 3 and above.
  • 5\) World Federation of Neurologic Surgeons (WFNS) grade III and above aSAH and who were scheduled for an endovascular therapeutic procedure for aSAH under general anaesthesia beyond 5 days of aneurysm rupture.
  • 6\) An unruptured aneurysm(s) or did not have aSAH.
  • 7\) A previous clipping or coiling procedure for the same aneurysm.
  • 8\) Undergone a concomitant extracranial\-intracranial bypass procedure or other non\-neurosurgical procedure.
  • 9\) Patient allergic to medications
