Inclusion Criteria
Patients suffering from localized or generalized, mild to moderate chronic periodontitis with pocket probing depth as 4-6mm detectable in at least one tooth in each quadrant, Willing to comply with the study related procedures
Exclusion Criteria
Smokers, pregnant and lactating women, patients with any history of systemic diseases/conditions e.g. uncontrolled DM, chronic rheumatoid arthritis, steroid therapy, autoimmune diseases etc, Patients who have received treatment for periodontitis in the last 6 months, Patients on antibiotic therapy past 6 month, refusal or inability to give informed consent
