Inclusion Criteria
Chronic periodontitis patients with minimum 20 remaining teeth.
Periodontal pocket depth of minimum 4 – 6 mm and/ or CAL of 1 to 4 mm.
Exclusion Criteria
Unwilling patients.
Systemic diseases having an impact on periodontium.
Patients on medications known to affect the periodontium.
Pregnant and lactating women.
Smokers.
Use of antibiotics within the Past 3 months.
Periodontal therapy within the Past 6 months.
Use of NSAID within the past 1 month.
Subjects with oral mucosal lesions.
