Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients undergoing lumbosacral spine surgeries under general anaesthesia.
- •2\. Patients willing to give written and informed consent to participate in study.
- •3\. Adult patients aged between 20 and 50 years.
- •4\. Patient of either gender.
- •5\. Patients belonging to ASA Grade I and Grade II.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. H/O allergic reactions to local anesthetics.
- •2\. Patients on anticoagulant therapy and H/O coagulation disorders.
- •3\. Local infection at the proposed site of puncture for caudal anaesthesia.
- •4\. Patients with neurological and psychiatric disorders.
- •5\. Patient with contraindication with caudal block like pilonidal sinus, congenital anomaly
- •of spine or meninges.
- •6\. Patient who had undergone previous back surgeries.
- •7\. Patients with history of arrhythmias, heart block, hypotension, bradycardia or any cardiac
