•1. Patients undergoing lumbosacral spine surgeries under general anaesthesia.
•2. Patients willing to give written and informed consent to participate in study.
•3. Adult patients aged between 20 and 50 years.
•4. Patient of either gender.
•5. Patients belonging to ASA Grade I and Grade II.

•1. H/O allergic reactions to local anesthetics.
•2. Patients on anticoagulant therapy and H/O coagulation disorders.
•3. Local infection at the proposed site of puncture for caudal anaesthesia.
•4. Patients with neurological and psychiatric disorders.
•5. Patient with contraindication with caudal block like pilonidal sinus, congenital anomaly
•of spine or meninges.
