1)Patient willing to give an informed consent.
2)Age between 18-65 years, both genders.
3)ASA grade I and II.
4)Patients undergoing elective surgical procedures, with duration of 90 to 120 minutes, under general anaesthesia with endotracheal intubation.
1)Patient not willing to give informed consent.
2)Patients undergoing emergency surgeries.
3)Procedures requiring perioperative nasogastric tube placement.
4)Patients with a high risk of aspiration.
5)Anticipated difficult airway.
6)Pregnant women.
7)Active upper respiratory tract infections.
8)Preoperative sore throat.
9)Previous history of GERD.
10)Head and neck surgeries and surgeries requiring prone position.
