Inclusion Criteria
Unilateral indirect inguinal hernia of clinical Nyhus category 1 and 2
Exclusion Criteria
1. Recurrent hernias
2. Complicated inguinal hernias
3. Any patient found intraoperatively having a weak posterior wall needing reinforcement
