Both the control and dexmedetomidine groups show no significant difference in incidence of AKI. With regard to early allograft dysfunction (EAD), there was no difference in incidence of EAD in both groups. Additionally, dexmedetomidine did not decrease the incidence of delirium in liver recipients after living donor liver transplantation.

- •preoerative kidney function abnormality
- •Dual living donor liver transplantation
- •cerebral vascular disease
- •comblined severe cardio-pulmonary disease
- •chronic kidney disease
- •recipients who take ACEI, B-blocker or alpha2-agonist
- •recipinets who considered unappropriate by study conductor
