Inclusion Criteria
BMI from 28.0 to 39.9 kg/m²; do not be pregnant or participating in another clinical trial; do not use vitamin-mineral supplements; do not smoke or drink alcohol chronically; do not practice intense physical activity; do not present food allergy to nuts or report a regular consumption of Brazil nuts.
Exclusion Criteria
Present recent infections, high-grade inflammation, chronic cardiovascular and gastrointestinal diseases (inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease), and cancer
