Patients between 18-65 years of age

ASA I/II

Patients scheduled for elective laparoscopic abdominal surgeries under general anaesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

Patient having hearing-impairment

Pregnant patients

Patients having abnormal liver function tests

Patients not willing to participate in the study

To assess effect of music on patients <br/ ><br>Intra-operative haemodynamic changes <br/ ><br>Postoperative pain <br/ ><br>Quality of arousal from anaesthesia <br/ ><br>Timepoint: Haemodynamic parameters 2 minutes after induction of anaesthesia and every 10 minutes for one hour and then after every 30 minutes until end of procedure <br/ ><br>Pain 2, 6 hours after extubation <br/ ><br>Quality of arousal at the time of extubation
