入选标准
- •Adult patients (18-65 years) of either sex, of ASA physical status I or II, who are scheduled for elective surgery under general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation.
排除标准
- •1. Predicted difficult airway (modified Mallampati score of 3 or 4, thyro mental distance <65 mm, inter incisor gap <35 mm, limited neck motion, and body mass index >30 kg m–2),
- •2. Anatomical abnormalities or diseases in the neck, upper airway, pharynx, or esophagus, history of neck or esophageal surgery,
- •3. Patients at an increased risk of pulmonary aspiration due to intestinal obstruction or pregnancy.
- •4. Patients with known stenosis or bruit of the left carotid artery, and/or history of stroke or acute coronary syndrome in the preceding 3 months will be excluded.
