Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Acute cholangitis (Definite or suspected diagnosis) according to TG2018
  • •Moderate or severe according to TG2018 severity grading criteria

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Preexisting biliary drainage
  • •Coexisting acute cholecystitis
  • •Coexisting liver abscess
  • •Coexisitng acute pancreatitis
  • •Upper GI obstruction precluding ERCP
  • •Surgically altered anatomy
  • •Not willing to participate
