Inclusion Criteria
- •Acute cholangitis (Definite or suspected diagnosis) according to TG2018
- •Moderate or severe according to TG2018 severity grading criteria
Exclusion Criteria
- •Preexisting biliary drainage
- •Coexisting acute cholecystitis
- •Coexisting liver abscess
- •Coexisitng acute pancreatitis
- •Upper GI obstruction precluding ERCP
- •Surgically altered anatomy
- •Not willing to participate
