Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •ASA 1 and 2, EITHER SEX
- •AGE 18\-65 YEARS,
- •SCHEDULED TO UNDERGO ANY ELECTIVE SURGERY UNDER GENERAL ANAESTHESIA WITH INTUBATIO
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patient requiring rapid sequence induction and intubation
- •Uncooperative patients
- •Pregnant patients
- •History of previous difficult intubation
- •Expected difficult laryngoscopy due to limited cervical spine motility, facial fractures, maxillofacial anomalies
- •Obesity BMI \>30kg/m2
- •any scar, mass, ulcer or surgical emphysema in the neck which will interfere with the ultrasound examination
