The study aims to investigate and compare the effectiveness of two rehabilitation approaches in improving balance and functional outcomes for stroke patients: core strengthening with conventional therapy (Group A) versus task-oriented exercise with conventional therapy (Group B). A total of 36 patients will participate, selected through convenient sampling. Group A, consisting of 18 patients, will undergo a regimen focused on core strengthening exercises combined with conventional therapy. Group B, also comprising 18 patients, will engage in task-oriented exercises alongside conventional therapy sessions.
Participants will be recruited from Shri Mahant Indresh Hospital’s Department of Physiotherapy and Neurology Ward in Patel Nagar, Dehradun, based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Written informed consent will be obtained from each patient, with detailed explanations provided to their families regarding the study’s objectives and procedures. This structured approach aims to assess and compare the impact of these rehabilitation strategies on balance improvement and functional recovery among stroke patients, contributing to optimized rehabilitation protocols in clinical practice.

入选标准
- •1- Age below 65 years.
- •2- Both genders male and female.
- •3- Patient with a history of first-time stroke.
- •4- Patient who achieved sitting for at least 10s.
- •5- Patient who have acute and subacute ischemic stroke.
- •6- Patient who had a definite diagnosis of stroke confirmed through CT or MRI.
排除标准
- •1- Age above 65years.
- •2- Unable to communicate and unable to follow commands.
- •3- Patient who are paralyzed on both sides (Quadriplegia).
- •4- Any visual, sensory and hearing impairment.
