Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients posted for laparoscopic cholecysectomy

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1.Patients with previous history of PONV or motion sickness.
  • 2.Menstruating, pregnant or lactating women.
  • 3.Patients receiving opioids, steroids, psychoactive drugs or antiemetic drugs within 24 hours before anaesthesia.
  • 4.Patients who received cancer chemotherapy within 4 weeks or emetogenic radiotherapy within 8 weeks.
  • 5.Patients who were smokers, obese, had diabetes, psychiatric diseases or gastrointestinal tract disease.
  • 6.Patients posted for an emergency surgery.
