A study on the effects of Pranayama and chanting of Gayatri Mantra on psychological parameters and autonomic functions on medical students for the duration of 12 weeks may be decrease the depression and anxiety level of students ; autonomic functions of the body i e.heart rate, blood pressure are maintained with in normal limits.

- •Subject not doing any regular yogic or mantra practice.
排除标准
- •History of any psychiatric illness ,respiratory disorder.Inability to comply with intervention and with study or follow up.
