Inclusion Criteria
1. Euthyroid patients undergoing elective thyroid surgery
2. Age between 20-60 years
3. ASA PS I and II
4. BMI 17.5 â?? 30 kg/m2
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients with anticipated difficult airway
2. Mouth opening less than 2.5 cm
3. Patients with risk of regurgitation and pulmonary aspiration (inadequate fasting, pregnancy)
4. BMI > 35 kg/m2
5. Patients with pre-existing vocal cord palsy
