Participants requiring single or multiple individual crown restorations in the posterior teeth (1st premolar to 2nd molar).
Patients with teeth problems indicated for all ceramic crowns in esthetic zone: • Teeth restored with large filling restorations • Endodontically treated teeth • Malformed teeth • Malposed teeth (Tilted, over-erupted, rotated, etc.)
Occlusal function with a natural tooth
No tooth mobility
Abutment with sound gingival and periodontal health: • Periodontal probing depth prior to tooth preparation = 4mm. • Full mouth plaque scores <20% at study baseline. • Full mouth bleeding scores <20% at study baseline.
Psychologically and physically able to co-operate during the tooth preparation procedure for zirconia crown restoration.
Thick gingival biotype
Ability and willingness to return for follow-up visits
Patients in growth stage with partially erupted teeth
Patients with medical history in which any dental intervention would be contraindicated
Patients with any local or systemic disease, condition or medication that might compromise health of the periodontium
Patients who use tobacco in any form
