1. Age: 18-65 years, either gender
2. Patients with bipolar affective disorder (BD) and currently in remission (F31.7) as per
clinical assessment based on ICD-10 criteria (WHO, 1992)
3. Clinically stable for 4 weeks or more.
4. Currently score =8 on Youngs Mania Rating Scale (YMRS) and =13 on 17-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAM-D)
5. Able to read and write
6. Willing for informed consent to participate
• Significant medical illness that has potential to interfere with study assessments (as per
known history)
• Significant current psychiatric or substance use comorbidity (except for nicotine) (as per
known history)
• Intellectual disability or organic brain syndrome (known history)
• Uncooperative patients or those unwilling to participate
