The role of monocytes at the infect defense after stem cell transplantation in children and young adults.
- Conditions
- HLA-DR expression and phagocytic activity of monocytes, their subpopulations, of granulocytes and lymphocytes in the course after stem cell and bone marrow transplantation.HLA-DR expression and phagocytic activity of monocytes, their subpopulations, of granulocytes and lymphocytes before and during post-transplant complications such as GvHD, VOD, bacterial and viral infections in the course after stem cell and bone marrow transplantation.

Name Time Method In this prospective study, the analysis is carried out of HLA-DR expression and phagocytic activity of monocytes, their subpopulationen, of granulocytes and lymphocytes per FACS-analysis up to one year after stem cell transplantation at pediatric patients and young adults. Primary endpoint is the time point 365 days after stem cell transplantation.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Secondary endpoint is the death of included pediatric patients and young adults during the observation period of one year after stem cell transplantation.
